Sorry I didn't send you an update last week, but I spent a few days visiting relatives in Colorado then working FanExpo Denver. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hi.
Great news to report. The art of Issue 2 is complete, and I should be receiving the last three colored pages tomorrow. Once I've approved those, then it will be off to Troy, our letterer. My hope is get it to the printer before I leave for SDCC.
Speaking of which, I will be in Small Press L-03. Please stop by and say hi if you are there. I will also be on two panels:

More Progress, Another Sneak Peek, and Cons

We have more progress. Pages 1-21 are inked and colored. Pages 22-24 are with the colorist this week. Which means we only have three more to go! Yah! I'm also working on the bonus material for issue two this week.

The Lapel Pins Have Arrived! And Art Progress Update

Hello Awesome Backers:
I wanted to give you a quick update as I'm heading out-of-town for over a week (family business and Phoenix Fan Fusion), so you won't hear from me as per my regular schedule for a bit.
Good news is that 21 pages out of 27 for Issue #2 are inked and colored!! More pages should be arriving shortly. And as luck will probably have it, they will arrive right after I post this update. :|
The other good news is the lapel pins have arrived, and they look great.
A big thank you to Alejandro Lee for designing it.

Progress has been slow due to Elisabeth recovering from long Covid and dealing with family issues. I hope to see more pages in soon. However, we have completed the art and coloring of 18 pages out of 27. So, we are getting there. Here's another sneak peek at issue 2.

Digital Stretch Goals Sent! Magnets Are In!

The digital stretch goals have been sent! Please check your Kickstarter messages as they will be there.
In other good news, the magnets are in and look terrific.
The Tesla Coil lapel pins have been ordered. It takes about a month for them to arrive.
Kaytee is done with coloring 14 pages and should be turning in page 15 to me this week. I'm still waiting on the inking of pages 16-27, but the layouts have been approved, and I hope to see more pages from Elisabeth this week. We are still on track to finish the art for issue 2 by the end of May.
So things are moving along.
NEBULA CONFERENCE
I will be attending the Nebula Conference in Anaheim May 12-14. I was fortunate to be selected to participate in two panels: Funding and Crowdfunding Your Project (Friday, May 12 at 4:00 pm) and Writing Scripted SciFi/Fantasy Podcasts (Sat., May 13 at 1:30 pm) It is both in-person and online.
