New Shipping Update

Hello Awesome Backers:
Unfortunately, there has been another delay. I found out last night that my printer was given the wrong information from the freight forwarder and the comics were released from customs yesterday (11/17) and not on the 13th like I was previously told. (Bah.) They are going to try and get it on a truck next week, but with the Thanksgiving holiday they probably won't arrive until the week of Nov. 27th. I'm in the process of letting my packing crew know, and I will reschedule that as well. As usual, I will keep you posted.
The good news is that the digital rewards have been sent out. I still have 70 outstanding surveys, most of which are digital, so please fill out your survey so I can get those to you. If you have lost it, please use this link to retrieve your survey.

I am still waiting to hear whether the comics have been released from customs, but in the meantime, I have sent out the 48 Final Notice from Backerkit in order for those who are receiving digital rewards to get them. (You should receive another email on Wednesday, 11/15 from Backerkit with the download links.) This allows those of you who have submitted your survey to update your shipping address and/or make any other changes. For those of you who have not filled out your survey, here is the link where you can grab it:

Shipping Update

Hello Awesome Backers:
Unfortunately, there's another delay. The container on which the comics are in was pulled for further inspection. (Arg!) My printer informs me the last time this happened they had it for a week. (Sigh) The good news is all of my shipping supplies have arrived, the packing team is in place, and we are ready to go. All we need are the comics. So, we wait.
In regards to Backerkit, I won't send out the 48 hour final notice until I have an arrival date/time for the comics. For those of you who have not done your surveys yet, please do. If you lost your link, let me know and I'll send it to you.
As usual, I will keep you posted.

Backerkit Surveys

Hello Awesome Backers:
I sent the "Smoke Test" from Backerkit yesterday to see if everything runs smoothly. (That's when Backerkit send out 5% of the surveys.) That turned out to be a good thing as I discovered a way to save those of you who purchased add-ons in Kickstarter! The not so great news is that six backers need to re-submit their survey. I have sent messages with you Backerkit link to those inidividuals through KS messaging. I'll send the rest of the surveys on Wednesday, 10/25. If you have any questions about them, please fell free to contact me through Kickstarter messaging or at [email protected].
In the meantime, I've been signing, bagging, and boarding in preparation of our fulfillment party. Once the books come in, I'll let you know. They are due to arrive in port on Oct. 30 and it can take up to five days (or more) for them to arrive at my doorstep. Once I have them in hand, I'll have a better sense of when they will be shipped to you. I will keep you posted. I will not lock orders until after they have arrived.

Metal Variants and Backerkit

I picked up the proofs for the metal variants on Saturday and was overjoyed when I opened the package. These are a sight to behold.
If you recall, I'm only having 25 produced and most have been spoken for, but there will be a few left on Backerkit. Speaking of Backerkit...
BACKERKIT
If you are unfamiliar with Backerkit, it's a third-party application that helps to organize fulfillment post-campaign. You will receive a survey from them that will allow you to confirm your pledge, update your address, if need be, and it gives you the opportunity to add additional items you missed during the campaign or weren't available at that time.
I'm currently working on the surveys and I hope to get them out to you next week. So look for that in your email. I will post another update once they go out.
